When CP/M had a chance to be as pervasive as DOS...

Hilarious stolen image aside, it's true. At one point, CP/M was in the running for IBM's main operating system. Of course, we all know the nod went to Microsoft. But, in this edition of the Computer Chronicles from 1995, we get to hear about not only about this, but we get a great rundown of the life of a man who was (and still is) a software icon.

I personally was all about CP/M when I was a kid... mostly due to the fact it shipped with my Commodre 128D (which, unsurprisingly) I STILL own.

Sadly, this past July would have been the TWENTIETH anniversary of his tragic passing.
